At Lillington Nursery & Primary School, children gain a secure understanding of what music is through listening, singing, playing, evaluating, analysing, and composing across a wide variety of historical periods, styles, traditions, and musical genres.

At Lillington, we aim to develop a deep interest for the subject, as well as an understanding of the significance of all types of music and the role music may take in an individual’s life. We are committed to providing children with the opportunity to develop their creativity, find their own voice and gain confidence through the exploration of sounds and high-quality rehearsal.

The School

Lillington Nursery and Primary School is located in Lillington which is part of Royal Leamington Spa. We cater for children from the age of 2 through to 11.

Curriculum

Our whole school curriculum is planned to excite and engage children whilst embedding the core skills needed to succeed. At Lillington we believe in a curriculum that is reading rich, celebrates differences , a curriculum that ensures children have a wide range of experiences.
